The downloaded information includes company name, company address, company contact name, title and salutation, plan type (e.g., 401(k), money purchase), checklist, plan year end, responsible for plan indicator, plan name, 5 user defined fields (section A of checklist) and file number. The first row of the file contains the field names for the data. The downloaded data may be used as a mail merge file for creating client mailings or may be used in spreadsheet format for helping you manage your practice.
